Shawn Habibi

EVP of Business Development

Shawn is Executive Vice President of Business Development for HealthBridge. With 20+ years of experience, Shawn has proven expertise in executive team leadership, enterprise level sales and marketing, acquisitions, client/vendor relations, market analysis, contract negotiation, business development, facility operations and corporate strategy.

Prior to HealthBridge, Shawn was Vice President of Payer Relations for CareMeridian, a leading provider of subacute and post-acute care and rehabilitation. In that role, he was responsible for the management of all payer relationships (commercial managed care, workers’ compensation, active duty military and VA, federal and state-sponsored business plans — CMS Medicare/Medicaid, private pay, and medical trusts via med-legal funding), driving sales and marketing strategy, and developing and vetting partnerships for business expansion. He was instrumental in the development of Neuro-Net, a collaborative network of post-acute partners for neurotrauma patients.

Previously, Shawn was Senior Contract Manager for Anthem Blue Cross of California with responsibility for managing 11 provider networks and over 5,000 providers (physician, hospital, and ancillary providers including commercial, workers’ compensation, CMS Medicare, Medicaid and foreign claims) for the western region (California, Colorado and Nevada).

Shawn is an active member of Vistage Leadership Group, the world’s leading business advisory and executive coaching organization. He has served on the Board of Directors of Canneto Home Health and Hospice Inc., assisting the organization with its business development and marketing strategies.

Shawn holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University Northridge.
